G House
Located on a steep and rocky 2,500 m² plot, G House is conceived as a single-story compact dwelling, positioned on a partially leveled area previously intervened by former landowners. The untouched portions of the site have been preserved and shaped with a landscape design approach that prioritizes the site’s existing olive trees and natural topography. This sensitive integration not only reinforces the house’s harmony with its environment but also offers residents a living experience deeply connected to the landscape.
Carved into the hillside, the house engages the terrain through a restrained architectural language. Its linear form follows the site’s natural contours, while expansive glazing blurs the boundaries between interior and exterior. Framed views of the Aegean Sea and olive groves anchor the home in its context, with all living spaces organized to enhance this uninterrupted visual connection.
With a closed area of approximately 200 m², G House brings together the essential functions of living in a simple and efficient layout. Facing the main view, the building splits into two volumes: one for living, the other for resting. Between them lies a calm courtyard that welcomes visitors at the entrance, acting as both a spatial threshold and a pause that opens toward the landscape.
